That being said, here we go …
The great deceiver is at work in this movie. This movie is a feeble attempt to get people who have rejected Salvation to grab onto something … anything that might give them hope. Hope that this life is not empty (without Christ) … hope that there is something after death (that is not judgement) and hope that their battle against what they know in their very inner being (there is a God) has not been in vain. This is a movie that shows an atheist fighting his own soul finally succumbing to what his eyes and mind seem t0 tell him … that reincarnation (Hinduism) is really true and the way to life eternal (not God … the One that made all and requires man to answer for his sin.)
See? A deception. Satan will let you travel down the path. He might even let you think you’ve gone down that path of your own freewill. In fact, he really can’t stop you from going in your mind to where you come from (God), but if he can make an alternate ending that is plausible, he knows he can get you to reject the Truth.
This is a simple movie with predictable motifs by the end. One could see the 2nd elevator scene coming from a mile away especially when he rejects the ‘man of God’ by going up the stairs a couple of minutes earlier. Yet it is powerful. It gives hope where there is no hope. It give people something to search for, as long as they are searching in all the wrong places. It is a clever deception.
Folks – see this movie for what it is … a propaganda piece for the dark side. If you want the truth about life after death, Hollywood is not the place to search.
Check out Hebrews 9:27 in the bible … in fact let me Google that for you.
