Hatred of God

The past few days have been very enlightening … with much use of the word ‘vile.’ Interesting.
First of all, this site has been down for a couple of days because of a sustained hacking attack that began not long after I posted my response to the Sodomy parade. I seem to have been able to block most of the IP’s and IP ranges that were doing the probing and so I’ve opened up the site again to see what happens.
Onto the LGBTQPRST+ community and their hatred of God.
I’ve noticed a few things that characterize their response to local Christians pointing out that, well … we started this place, and we live here too.
When it is pointed out to them that God condemns them (not us,) they tend to waffle back and forth between a couple of positions. On one hand they will say, ‘God is love’ (true) and ‘judge not lest ye be judged.’ But when a Christian points out that God is also holy and it is He who has judged them, they switch to, ‘we don’t believe in your god anyway.’ It’s an interesting dichotomy. On one hand they want to claim God’s love but when it is pointed out that God judges them, they pretend they don’t know Him. Romans 1 directly address this position:
And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind …
Romans 1:28
They choose to try to ignore God in an effort to avoid His judgement of their behaviour. In turn God gives them over to their evil desires and they become disallowed (that is the meaning of the word reprobate) by God. What a solemn position to be in! Scary when you think of their eternal souls!
So when they hate Christians for not supporting them, they are really showing their hatred toward God and we can accept their barbs knowing that they are trying to get at Him through us.
If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
John 15:18
Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man’s sake.
Luke 6:22
Finally. I noticed the word ‘vile’ being used over and over again by the gay community when they try to condemn Christians. Interesting word. It’s very curious that, while not a common word, it is the very word that God used to condemn their acts in Romans 1.
For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
Romans 1:26
In their effort to defend their behaviour they take the very word that God used and throw it back at Him. If that is not hatred of God the Creator and sustainer of life, I don’t know is.
Stand firm brothers and sisters in the Lord. The enemy is strong and full of wrath, but our God is greater and Lord over all.
