Hopium Is A Heck of a Drug

A certain percentage of people who are mostly on the right side of history seem to put their hope into the wrong things. ‘Trump is coming back’ or ‘voting will save us,’ … or as in this case, ‘the truth is coming out.’ While we have 100% confidence in who eventually wins, looking for salvation from another source is pure Hopium and does more harm than good to those that read and believe it.

God is not going to restore the United States to its former glory. The wrath of God will be poured out on this world for the sin we have bathed ourselves in. It’s going to get a LOT worse before the Lion of the tribe of Judah (Jesus) comes again and puts all things under his feet.

People need hope to move forward. Those without hope often give up. A false hope, or a hope in a false god is only marginally better. Best to put your hope in Someone who can actually win this battle. This is the Christian mandate. We cannot ‘fix’ the world, only He can. Stop pretending you can build heaven on earth. We have the blueprint for the future. Put your hope in that!
